Fresh Hair and Beauty
Fresh Hair is a wig, well-being and beauty salon based on the chemo ward of our local hospital. Fiona Ford, the salon founder, and her colleagues at the hospital have supported the development of our Defiant Beauty range and they were the first to sell our products.
Fresh Hair and Beauty are our chosen charity and 10% of all online profits from the sale of cancer products are donated to the Fresh Hair and Beauty Charity. Despite having only been open since June 2011, they need to raise funds to build a larger salon within the cancer centre at University Hospital North Staffs (UHNS). We hope that we help them to reach their target very soon.
There are plans to expand Fresh Hair to hospitals nationwide; we hope that we can help Fiona and her team to achieve that aim. Please let us know if you would like a salon at your local hospital (it might be a good idea to let them know too). We promise to tell Fiona.
As we grow we hope to be able to support more charities. We have a particular passion for research into the benefits of dietary and lifestyle changes to the well-being of cancer patients. We are very keen to hear from organisations researching in these areas. Please contact us if you think we may be able to help.

I am Becca Johnson, representing the new 501(C)(3) nonprofit Suite HOPE (Helping Oncology Patients Esthetically). Our mission is to help women with the esthetic effects of cancer treatment.
Our website has beauty and wig articles written by current leaders in the field, as well as survivor stories and information for the family and friends of loved ones affected by cancer.
Nationally, we provide talks at women’s groups, hospitals and cancer centers. Locally, we have a pilot program at an NCI ranked cancer hospital in Dallas. Through this program, we offer one-on-one consultations on wig selection and restorative makeup techniques. We serve ALL women with ANY type of cancer, from the newly diagnosed to the long-term survivor.
Recently, we provided a one-on-one consultation for Ashleigh Range, who is currently undergoing treatment. She wrote an excellent blog about her experience and paints a great picture of the services we offer: myjourneywithibc.blogspot.com.
As you have a strong female following, a large number of your readers may benefit from the information on our site, www.suitehope.org. I wanted to reach out and ask if you would look at our site and see if you think our cause would be worthy to your readership. If so, we would greatly appreciate any help spreading the word about this new nonprofit and the work we are doing to help oncology patients esthetically.
