Exhibition speaking

Exhibition speaking

What can I say??

sunset, sunset with bird, birds over sunset, sunset sky clouds, futuresunset, sunset with bird, birds over sunset, sunset sky clouds

I have been asked to speak on the demo stage at Holistic Health at the NEC later this month. I am first up on Sunday and last up on Monday. The talk for the FHT training congress at the show was booked last year. My subject is agreed and published. The demo stage request is more recent.  I can speak on a subject of my choice.

Any ideas? Is there anything that you would like to know more about? I have to have the talk overview with the organisers by 1200 tomorrow. Feel the pressure.

Contrary to my usual quiet life of yoga and walks and runs and holidays, I have a sociable couple of weeks coming up.

We are lucky enough to work with the fabulous Rudding Park in North Yorkshire. The new spa, redeveloped and a cost of £10 million, is to offer Jennifer Young Treatments.  Their launch party is next week. Tuesday will see me provide therapies to a client affected by cancer (I am going to practice this weekend, it’s been a while, my daughters will glow by Monday). A local radio station is taking over the spa for the entire day, not only do I have to stand up, breathe and give a facial; I have to talk at the same time.

The VIP Champagne reception is on Wednesday – hard life, I know. I’m driving home after the party – no champagne for me.

I will be able to have a glass (or two) at the other event. I have been invited to a mayoral inauguration. Has anyone been to one of those before? I am going to the ‘mayor making’ and the party afterwards. As usual, my greatest concern? ‘What am I going to wear?' I can feel a hat coming on. I love hats. No heels though, that was a lesson learned.

Sending hats, flats and inspiration

Jennifer
