Most commercially available chocolate is made from cocoa powder that has been produced by roasting cacao beans to very high temperatures. On the other hand raw chocolate is made from raw cocoa (cacao) powder which comes from cacao beans that have been naturally dried. In fact, when we make enJOY! it is never heated above 45 degrees, which helps to preserve the chocolate’s wealth of nutrients and antioxidants.
Our chocolate is sweetened with coconut blossom nectar, which has a great taste and the benefit of being half the Glycaemic Index (GI) of refined sugar. enJOY! is also dairy free.
