Simone Thomas

Simone Thomas is the founder of Crowning Glory and is one of the UK's leading authorities on hair loss.

Simone Thomas is the founder of Crowning Glory (formerly Hair Loss Bournemouth) and is one of the UK’s leading authorities on hair loss. Having worked previously in Film, TV and Modelling, Simone suffered twice from hair loss before the age of 30 due to medical reasons. This made Simone acutely aware of the added strains hair loss can have on a person suffering with illness. As such Simone set up her first Salon, MWAH, which alongside providing everyday beauty and hair treatments for the general public, specialised in hair loss systems and treatments from fashion wigs, hair extensions, to bespoke wigs and toupees particularly for those with cancer and other serious illnesses. In December 2014, Simone opened an exclusive two floor salon which hosts an entire floor dedicated to the treatment of hair loss. Come 2016, Simone is due to open another two salons in Reading and Guildford dedicated solely to the treatment of hair loss.

In February, Simone appeared on Channel 4’s Bodyshockers and regularly features in the Daily Mail alongside contributing for sites such as the Huffington Post UK and UKMums.net.

Simone has also worked with Lewis Manning Hospice, a hospice which provides free care and support for people living with cancer, Parkinson's Disease and other life-limiting illnesses, to create a specialist in-house Salon. Simone has supported a variety of other local charities such as The Grove Hotel, and Macmillan Caring Locally.
