Body Soul Nutrition is founded by nutritional therapist, Elizabeth Butler.

Following a degree in biochemistry, Liz trained in nutritional therapy at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition. She went on to obtain her Master of Nutritional Medicine at the University of Surrey.

Liz has particular knowledge and experience in the field of cancer support and spent seven years working as the Senior Nutritional Therapist for the charity Penny Brohn Cancer Care and two years working for breast cancer charity The Haven. She produced the current healthy eating guidelines for both charities.

Liz has lectured on the subject of nutrition and cancer at various colleges and contributed to scientific papers. She wrote the nutrition chapter for the book Enhancing Cancer Care, Complementary Therapy and Support edited by Jennifer Barraclough and published by Oxford University Press.

Liz has a strong interest in how food supports the whole person - body, mind and soul. In 2012 she founded the company Body Soul Nutrition with the aim of teaching people to listen closely to their bodies so that they may know how best to nourish themselves without feeling restricted by imposed dietary rules.
