Dr Ken Harris graduated with BDS from the dental school of the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 1982 and passed his MFGDP(UK) in 1996. He maintains a fully private practice called Riveredge Cosmetic Dentistry, with branches in Sunderland and Newcastle upon Tyne.

The practice specialising in complex dental reconstruction cases based upon sound treatment planning protocols.

Dr Harris is now the most qualified cosmetic dentist in the UK, after recently receiving his MSc in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry from the University of Manchester, passing with a distinction.

He is one of only two accredited Fellows of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD), and now also acts as an examiner for the BACD Accreditation process.

 He is a sustaining member of American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and holds full membership of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (BAAD). Ken was the first UK graduate of the Kois Center in Seattle, recognised as one of the most prestigious centres in the world for dental training, and he now acts on their behalf as a mentor.

He is currently UK Clinical Director for the California Center for Advanced Dental Studies and acts as Clinical Director for Dentist Direct; the UK-based dental corporate group.

He is widely recognised as the “dentists’ dentist”, dealing with complex cases which require particular skill and expertise.

Ken has written numerous articles in the dental press, and is a recognised dental teacher and lecturer around the UK with increasing demands to teach internationally.
